Communication and Useful Apps
Open and frequent communication is a top priority of the CCSC Coaching staff and Board of Directors. Having well-informed members facilitates smooth club management and operations. It helps everyone have access to the same information, reducing frustration and misunderstandings.
Please remember that, although the CCSC Coaching Staff and Board will do everything it can to share information, ultimately it is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY, as the parent or guardian of a CCSC swimmer, to stay informed and actively seek information regarding upcoming swim meets, team events, and deadlines.
The CCSC website is a primary source of club information. All members are strongly encouraged to visit: https://www.caverncityswimclub.com. Most of your questions will be answered here. Be sure to read the articles under the ABOUT US tab, SAFE SPORT tab, and PARENT & SWIMMER HANDBOOK tab. Become familiar with where to locate information.
CCSC Coaches and Board Members utilize many forms of communication so that news and announcements are shared in a timely manner. These forms of communication include: email. text message using the Remind App, notes posted on the CCSC bulletin board at the Natatorium, fliers sent home, and verbal announcements made to swimmers and parents at practice, or at seasonal meetings.
A free communication app to help our members stay informed about practice changes or cancellations, news, and other announcements. At least one adult per family must join the CCSC Remind group. Swimmers that are 14 years old or older may also join, however, this does not replace the adult family member requirement.
(Option, but recommended if participating in swim meets). Provides a paperless swim meet program and real-time swim meet results. Requires a per-meet or annual subscription.
